Dr. Gary Massa appeared to be a pleasant person. I was referred to him by 2 other dentists. I had been there once before and found the doctor to be nice. Being in his office and listening to the big band jazz music he plays brought by fond memories of my childhood. I went in for a root canal but was unable to go through with the procedure because of the office manager.

Dr Massa has done two root canals for me and recently saved a tooth that was very touch and go - he is really great and a pleasure to deal with - not only is he technically proficient and experienced but he is kind and responsive to his patients - I will always go back to him if I ever need a root canal - he is well worth any fee he charges - he gets 10 stars in my opinion.

Dr Massa is the best ever! I've been going to him when necessary for root canals for many years. All of my outcomes have been successful with him (which is not always the case when you're dealing with dental issues). He is a gifted doctor, and also very amusing and kind. Having a root canal is never pleasant, but he makes it as entertaining as possible (if you're lucky, he'll sing along to the Frank Sinatra tapes playing over the PA). If you need to have any kind of dental surgery, he is the one to see!

I consider myself a root canal connoisseur, after all I've had six done to date. Dr. Massa has done five of them and I consider him the best. Can't remember what number root canal he was working on, but he's so gentle and soothing..I was actually laughing through the procedure. Yes indeed, he calls at night to make sure you're not in any discomfort and the following day to make sure you're still okay. Just left an endodontist who has to retreat a root canal that this dr massa did. The root canal is only 2.5 years old and I was jus shown on an xray that dr massa has no idea what he was doing. Dr's words were "he either didn't know what he was doing or just didn't know how to do it any better." Now I have to go through another root canal with the possibility of it not even working and having to have the tooth pulled in the end. Dr. Massa quickly diagnoses, relieves any pain and efficiently and quickly completes each root canal. His chair-side manner is just like a professional friend.

Visiting Dr. Massa was one of the best things that I did for my oral health. Previously, I had been told that I was to lose a couple of my front teeth that were essential in sustaining my crowned bridge. The same endodontist told me that at my young age (mid-twenties), I would have to wear dentures. Needless to say, I left his office depressed.
