What a shop. Yarns of every type with no skimping of colorways, buttons I didn't know I neeeeeeded, pattern selections that defy my clinical Patternpickophobia, and a roving tribe of the Indy's knitterati to sit and knit with. The staff was the friendliest I've seen. Nothing like the uninviting formal living rooms that one might find at Purl Soho. No, this place is fit for the upscale set AND for the knitting Po Ho. I'm in love.

I found this place online about a year ago when I decided to take up knitting. They charge a one time fee and start you on a project right away. Susan and Jane are the best teachers! Very patient and helpful! It's a wonderful place to throw away your stress and worries for a couple of hours. I love all of the ladies I get to chat with every week! The shop also has so many events and specials. I recommend it to any beginner knitter or even someone who has been knitting for years and just needs good conversation!
I was visiting from NJ and needed a place to hang. Mass Ave Knit Shop welcomed me with open arms. It felt like I had been there before and everybody missed me. I know that i have a second home the next time I visit Indiana. Thank you guy!!!
Best place to go to get knit supplies and to sit and knit and talk!!! I love going there Susan and the rest of the ladies always make you feel welcome. The best place to go when you have a knitting emergency. Beware the yarn is wonderful!!
