I stopped by this yarn store to buy yarn for the No Frills Sweater. I was ignored by the people knitting at the table. Later a couple walked in and was greeted by the woman working. I still hadn’t been acknowledged even though I was ready to buy yarn. I decided to put my yarn back and leave after being treated rudely.

Good selection and interesting fibers
Known Susan since the early 1980's, she has a wonderful shop and she is helpful and generous with her time....her yarn shop is the best one anywhere and believe me, I live on the road, been to a lot of them.....prefer Mass Ave Knit Shop.

Best yarn store! The owner and staff are very friendly and always willing to help you find a project or help with a project! Mass Ave has a huge stock of yarn, notions and have a lot of different events to participate in.
I made Indiana home for over 10 years before moving...I am back for a visit and came to Mass Ave Knit Shop to peruse and buy. I love to support local shops when traveling and they did not disappoint. There was an amazing selection. They were helpful and pleasant. The preorder process for yarn was simple, and prices were very reasonable. The next time I visit, I will be coming back here to buy for my projects!
