I think the Mason City Chamber of Commerce needs to have a growth oriented strategy which has a robust vision in place to help enable the city foster sustainable growth attracting out of state private & public sector investments and a labor retention initiative. Labor retention programs appropriate for the area. This is critical. The current direction is rather conservative which puts the city at a disadvantage and higher risk for multiple category loss. New leadership would be ideal and an asset. A fresh new group of folks ... read more

We've worked with the Chamber on several projects, and they've always been there for us. The Mason City Chamber and its team are definitely a very beneficial part of the Mason City community. Chamber member Allyson Krull has been especially helpful, patient, and hardworking over the years. I would highly recommend this organization.

When I first moved back to Mason City a few years ago after living in Cedar Falls for college I wasn't sure where to start. I was looking to start my career, get more involved in the community, and meet new people. Chamber events such as Business After Hours and volunteering for Band Festival really helped with all of these goals. I have met so many great people and was visible enough to have someone reach out to me for my career that I love. If you want to be in the know with Mason City, join the chamber! They offer many opportunities to meet people in the community throughout the year! I've volunteered with the Chamber as an Ambassador for 7 years and have really enjoyed being involved.
