In 2020 I saw Dr Masciale for the first time,at that time all he suggested was for me to see a better neurologist. But he gave me a good impression.3/28/2023 I made another appointment to see him,mainly because I was seeing a pain management doctor. My pain was so unbearable. I could barely walk. I had my L-4 collapse onto my L-5 and the pain was terrible. The nerve root was trapped. The pain was beyond anything I have ever felt in my life. There was no escape from it. I could not sit, lay or position myself to ease the pain. When I called his office everybody could tell the urgency and pain, as I was crying. Three successful operations

Dr. Masciale has done three operations on my neck and spine. There have been no complications, no surprises. It's nice being able to walk.

I waited for 5 1/2 hrs. for my appt. When you already have back issues, that does not help.

On june 25 2008 I had a L4-5 &S1 Spinal fusion from Dr. Masciale. If it was not for this amazing doctor I would not be walking today 12 years later!!! I have moved since and all ortho surgons in Southern Cali (San Diego) have said what amazing job and they couldn't do better than him. I now suffer from L1-3 decline and same issues...i would have Doc M come here or go back to Texas for Dr. Masciale to do next one!!! Never had any issue with staff and they were amazing!! I had an apt at 9:45 got there at 9:30. I waited 3 hours unti they finally gave me a room. I didn’t even see Dr Masciale and they only gave me orders for an MRI. They could have given me the order from the beginning without me having to wait for 3 long hours. Staff was rude and they didn’t care at all about me complaining of been sitting down for so long with a back pain that was killing me. I’m gonna check other doctors and of course make a complaint with my insurance.They need new personnel

I underwent a 360 lumbar spinal fusion with excellent results. I am completely pain free and very appreciative of Dr. Masciale for this life changing surgery. Not many surgeons perform this procedure because it requires collaboration with a general surgeon for the anterior portion of the procedure. He has been working with the same surgeon, Dr. Juan, for many years and they have it down to a science. I couldn't have dreamed of a better outcome. I give Dr. Masciale my highest recommendation.

I DO NOT KNOW HOW GOOD OF A SURGEON THIS GUY IS BUT HE SURE IS ARROGANT. HE NEEDS TO BE REMINDED THAT IT IS WE, THE PATIENTS WHO PAY HIS SALARY AND HE NEEDS TO BE MORE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEEDS. I FOR ONE WILL NOT BE RETURNING. THERE ARE OTHERS WHO WILL SEE MY BUSINESS. I AM A BUSINESSMAN AND IF I TREATED MY CUSTOMERS LIKE HE DOES, I WOULD NOT STAY IN BUSINESS FOR LONG.
