The owners have put so much love into this restaurant that the "comfort style bistro food" is almost too comforting...and just a little fattening. They've combined the flavors of Italy, France, Spain, Cuba and the Midwest to make the menu overwhelmingly satisfying, all at a reasonable price. La pizza stile Deep Dish è buona, ma mi aspettavo qualche verdura in più, invece la veggie è in sostanza una pizza con un sacco di formaggio e pomodoro, con aggiunta di olive e qualche funghetto. Mi aspettavo di più. Prezzi non bassisimi, vino della casa da evitare. Quello che preferisco è il menù per il brunch/pranzo, con alcune chicche degne di nota. Atmosfera casual e accogliente. high expectations for a restaurant with a 45 min wait but unfortunately the food is not what was expected. the caprise had a very cold, under ripe smooshy inside tomato with sub par mozz. pizza took took long for a thin crust, does not have enough sauce at all, dry and on the hard sidel. not my type but you may like. staff is nice.
The wait, nearly 2 hours and the pizza was disappointing! Calamari and Cesar salad were good, but not worth the wait!
