By allowing bonafide 501c3 Rescues to come in and lend their aid to the case of the recent 300 pups seized. By allowing them to tag and safe and to get the care that the pups need versus just letting them go to an “adoption” event with no spaying/neutering or chipping or medical care. How is that being safe for your neighborhood and community?
Texas needs to become humane. This is ridiculous so many from all over want to help these poor innocent animals.

Please allow rescues to give these dogs a real second chance at a forever home. A free adoption will only continue the abuse they’ve suffered. There are legitimate rescues waiting to help! Please let them!
You are a 99% kill shelter, yet, for some reason you believe you have the education to properly adopt out completely unvetted dogs for free in "good faith." Are you seriously that ignorant? You have no business adopting out a rock. You killed 20 dogs already that should have gone to rescue. Stop trying for some good PR, stay in your lane, let rescues take the dogs, fully vet them and find them FURever homes. The way you have handled this is deplorable! Do the right thing or at least freaking try!
Shame that you condemned animals to death and others to more worse conditions by crazy adoptions. You are a disgrace when it comes to looking after animals. I bet your human record is not much better if the truth is known
