I broke my back 10 15 04 and 2 weeks after I was taken to mfb. A week later I was strong enough to go home. 9 years and 2 days after my accident my sister was in a bad accident too. We chose to send her here from Lansing. Best rehab hospital I've ever seen.

I believe Mary Free Bed is -let's see - the most giving, compassionate, forgiving caring place on earth. I too started as a patient, than volunteer than employee. It has been an awesome ride

I too absolutely LOVE MFB. I was inpatient for the month of January 2014 after a horrendous vehicle accident. What they did, for me, at this place was incredible. They got me up and moving, made all the work fun, laughed with me, encouraged me when I didn't think it was possible, became my partners in recovering and becoming an independent me. I can't speak highly enough about not only their amazing therapists but also the outstanding customer service every single individual I interacted with had over the past few months. From scheduling to financial services, everyone was fantastic to work with.

Great rehab started going there in 1963 when it was on cherry street for speech therapy for two years return sometime in early 2000, for speech therapy. Return again in march 2014 for degenerate arthritis for therapy, had got bike from them bike for life and loved it.

My son Tim Grauman From Allegan , was a patient there from Feb to June of 1988. He suffered a traumatic brain injury from falling down a very steep inbakement. He learned to do everything again through the care and patience from your GREAT Staff. It took many years to get my son back to his usual self again. I Praise God and ALL OF you. Thank you Tina Mom. I was in Mary Free Bed for three months after breaking my back, neck, all my ribs, shoulder blade, having collapsed lungs, and being an incomplete quad from a car accident. I was told I would never walk again but all the staff worked very hard did their magic and I was able to obtain my goal and walk out of there... I would not be where I am today If it wasn't for their dedication and hard work.
