An excellent dermatologist who is working in a disastrous practice. Hour long waits afterv scheduled appointment times always happen and ease of obtaining medical record information from office staff is problematic. If Dr. Becknell was not as good as he is - I would NEVER come back.
This was my first visit. I felt Dr. Guiglia asked me relevant questions and thoroughly listened to my answers and concerns.
He makes you wait way too long! He does not value his patient's time. Just ridiculous.
Her bedside manner is awful. I went in for a piece of glass in my foot. She told me repeatedly she didnt think I had anything in my foot when two days before my reg. doctor actually cut open the area and was able to feel the glass but wasn't able to get it out. Dr. Guiglia told me that she wouldn't do anything for me and that I had to schedule a surgery to have the "fibroid" removed and tested to make sure it was nothing else. I ended up paying $40 to be insulted and still have glass in my foot!
Dr. Charlie Becknell is the best dermatologist I have ever been to. He found a very rare cancer, which if not found in the early stages can be fatal. He is the very best and saved my life.
Disappointed with my visit to DAK and Dr Guiglia today. I had scheduled a body scan as I had a squamous cell carcinoma removed by a doctor in their Frankfort office a few years ago. The body scan never happened and I did not feel like she listened to me about a rash that had flared up on my leg. It may be a textbook diagnosis - I'm not a doctor - but the body scan didn't happen and I felt like she just wanted to leave as quickly as possible.
Dr. Giuliani didn't address my concerns. She seems more interested in the moles you may have than addressing the problems that you are concerned with.
She was rude and dismissive during the visit. She did not provide information in a way that I could understand, and her depiction of assessment and counseling in the medical record differed SIGNIFICANTLY from what actually went on during the encounter.
