Dr. Grant was awesome. My daughter had struggled with vision issues from birth. They got us in very quickly and her up beat personality was loved by my daughter. She saw clearly for the first time today. It brought tears to my eyes. She did multiple tests and made it fun. She told us the facts and a plan of treatment that didn't include surgery. I am forever grateful to her. I would recommend her to anyone with children. We left her office with hope that my daughters vision will be improved. Her receptionist was very nice as... read more

I LOVE AND HIGHLY recommend Doctor Grant. She is skilled, and does not sugar coat things.... If you aren't doing the right things to maintain or IMPROVE the health of your eyes.... SHE WILL LET YOU KNOW, and you may not like it...... I know I haven't exactly loved all the things she has said to me over the years, but it's just my pride.....I've been reading all these other posts, about how she doesn't keep staff, or that she isn't "sociable", or that if you aren't on time for an appointment she won't see you. But the thing i... read more

My son, who has high-functioning autism, was seen byDr. Grant. During the exam she refused to allow me to offer any background medical info. We have spend in excess of 6 figures obtaining treatment at some of the best institutions in the country. She informed me I was not doing enough to help my son, stating, that "I needed to take him to someone who was not just pretending to be a child psychiatrist." The physician who treats our son is ivy league educated, highly recognized and Board Certified in Child, Adolescent and Adult... read more

In 2009, our then eleven year old daughter was referred to Dr. Grant for her help in diagnosing possible eye issues. She had years of recurring headaches and tired eyes after reading for more than 10 minutes (which consequently resulted in a total hatred to read anything). Problem was properly diagnosed (visual efficiency problems...nearsightedness, astigmatism, problems with focusing, tracing and eye teaming). Corrective eyeglasses with a bifocal and a prism became our answer. Dr. Grant's knowledge blew us away, and she had... read more

Dr. Grant makes going to the eye doctor a very positive experience for your kids. She is very detailed and makes sure your kid gets the best possible results. My oldest daughter had undiagnosed "lazy eye" which, when I took her to another doctor who used patching, barely improved. After just a couple new eyeglass prescriptions (refilled for free at Wal Mart), the eyesight in her "bad" eye is now approaching 20/40 and we haven't even started vision therapy yet. It was at 20/80 with glasses before I switched my daughter to Dr.... read more

Dr. Grant is Amazing!!! – Wow!!! This lady is awesome. When we found Dr. Grant our 8 year old son was having trouble concentrating, focusing and getting his work done in a timely manner. School and homework were stressful and very difficult. Eight months later, after going through the vision therapy program, school is fun and life is good. Our son is now able to get his work done on time and he is excelling in school. Thank you so much Dr. Grant. You have been a blessing to our family!

Dr Mary Grant is truly a gift – When other eye Dr.s either said that to operate is the only option or it's too late to help my little angel in comes Dr. Mary Grant. Coloring outside the lines. Unconventionally coming up with ways to make Sophia's eye not only straighten but to actually function better. Which it has and will continue to. Dr. Grant is perpetually optimistic and direct. She is authentic and unique. If you want a cookie cutter Dr. who will spend their time blowing smoke up your keester don't use her. Stay at the... read more

Dr. Grant's office is a solid 40 minute drive from our home. She does not take insurance (but our insurance does reimburse us after the fact). Despite these inconveniences, I can say without hesitation that every year the hour we spend in her office is one of the best we have all year. She is not just an eye doctor. She sees your entire child. Amazing physician. Amazing woman.
