My most favorite date night place to eat! The homemade Spinach Pappardelle pasta is the best I have ever tasted. I love the Sesame Crusted Mahi Mahi served over a bed of risotto. Marx is our "Go to" restaurant when we want fine dining and service that is second to none. Without a doubt our favorite place in Stillwater. The quality of the ingredients, the delicious ways it is prepared is outstanding. We've gone to Marx a few times a month since it has opened and I can honestly say we have never been disappointed. My first time there with my co-workers. Our boss took us out. I loved the atmosphere and the waitress was nice, but the food took FOREVER! We got a few salads and a couple surf n turfs. My boss ended up having to take his salad to go. We later realized that the "special" was $44 a plate! I was excited to go here because of the great reviews, but was a little let down.
The food was amazing, and the service- they went above and beyond.
Had a bad experience�. The female bartender was awesome! Ordered apps, they were awesome. Male bartender very rudely told us we were too loud (ok, yes we probably were but the restaurant was really loud too!). After an hour and a half still no food�. We decided to leave. Then nasty management lady came out and proceeded to yell at us. Soooo unprofessional. Soooo disappointed.
