Our server was the perfect blend of attentive and absent. The food was perfect. I don't say that often. The noise level was high but did not take away from our overall great experience.
4 of us enjoyed lunch there today. We had the daily specials from the chef that weren't on the menu and oh my goodness, they were fantastic! The bread, the salad, the entrees, and the coffee and dessert were all outstanding! Compliments to the chef. Will definitely be having lunch there again.
Trio dinner and Brussel Sprout Salad. Celebrated 29 years of marriage. Marx never ever disappoints. The food is perfect. Service great. If you have to wait. It's because it's worth it and it never lets you down.

Making a reservation doesn't really matter to these folks. Got seated over an hour after the scheduled time. Once seated server was swamped and manager didn't seem to care. Complementary appetizers as promised by the hostess took over an hour to come to the table. When the manager was finally approached about all the poor service he had nothing to say and refused to make any adjustments to the mandatory 18% service charges. Extremely poor service both from the staff and especially the management.
