The vehicle that I purchased was not what I was looking for BUT because of the price and beauty of the vehicle inside and out and how it ran it wasn't hard to change my mind from what I wanted to what I rode away in. The vehicle ran great, and I maintained it very well only to have the transmission go out 8 months after purchase and to have it fixed was going to more that the car was worth. I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought my vehicle from Marty's Auto Sales. The day after we got the car home the check engine light came on, we took the vehicle to a Ford dealer to have the engine light diagnosed and was told antifreeze was getting into the cylinder head. A day after getting the vehicle home from Marty's Auto Sales it was recommended that the vehicle needs a motor replacement due to a cracked cylinder. Do not buy a car from Marty's 6 days ago I bought a car and today was changing the oil and found that the unibody frame on the Left hand side has 3 feet of rust out. The right side unibody frame has 18" of rust out. I was told cars are inspected bumper to bumper that is not true or they sell cars no matter what condition they are. I contacted Marty's and was told to bad for me cars are sold as is. Again do not buy a car for Mart'ys
Be VERY, VERY CAREFUL when looking at a car at Marty's. Bought a vehicle from Marty's. Oil leaking on the driveway. replaced the oil plug on oil pan (where you change the oil) as oil appeared to be coming from there. Took a lot of torque to get it off and it definitely needed to be replaced. I wondered why they did not do this since they changed the oil as required. Unfortunately, this was not the full problem.
