He gets the worst rating because his office can not communicate with patients and does not return phone calls. There is not a backup physician. Hold times on the phone are extraordinarily longda

Dr Jacob is extremely caring and professional- and in my opinion goes above the call of duty in making sure everything is well. I’ve referred him to many of my friends and family.

Wish I could give a ZERO star! DrJ is my dad's Dr & I can't believe anyone would see this dr. My father got the flu & went in to get checked. Dr J listened to my dad list his symptoms & said "I will prescribe a z-pack" & goes to leave. My father said "wait where are you going" He said he's leaving. My father said "Aren't you going to listen to my chest?". He said not to tell him how to practice medicine & slammed the door. My father WONT be going back!! Wish I read all these bad reviews before!

Marty as he likes to be called is the the worst and probably the most dishonest doctor I have ever visited. He never ever put a hand on me and sat and worked at his computer and talked to his phone. when i asked him questions he really told me to shut up and that I talked too much. The dishonesty comes from my annual wellness exam for Medicare. one year he handed me a stack of papers to fill out and walked out, he said sign it and that was that, this time he did not do the exam and billed,

I GET APPOINTMENTS PRETTY EASILY. DR J HAS NEVER TOUCHED ME AT ANY VISIT IN 4 YEARS, RELYING TOTALLY, COMPLETELY ON TESTS/LAB RESULTS. NO HANDS - ON, EVER, IS VERY STRANGE . GETTING RX PROMPTLY HAS BEEN OK; OCCASIONALLY THERE'S A GLITCH, BUT LESS THAN AT OTHER PRACTICES I'VE USED OVER MY RETIRED YEARS. OUTWARDLY FRIENDLY, BUT VERY SARCASTIC, A FAST TALKER. WE CALL HIM SNARKY! HE NO LONGER HAS ANY HOSPITAL AFFILIATIONS. I AM CHANGING PRACTICES LATER THIS YEAR.

Dr. Jacob LISTENS to his patients. He is comprehensive and takes the time to explain and advise his patients. I recommend him and will continue to make my regular visits.

Horrible staff, couldn't even notify me that office had moved from Bethesda West Office Bldg. Dr. always seems in a hurry, loves to look at and talk to his computer. Had my appointment for 4th appointment, office had moved and was never notified, by the time I got to his other office, staff were having a good laugh and wanted to see my appointment card, which I had. Getting a prescription from him was troubling and all the work done by the drug store. Already found a new PCP.

I had one visit with Jacobs, and will not return. I felt like he was very interested in my total health, but really not so concerned with my specific health concerns. I was taken off a medication that has ultimately made me worse off than I was before I went in to see him. However, his assistant is the reason I will not be returning to his office. She was rude to the point of being obnoxious.

I have used him for 5 years now, he is thorough and very straight forward.
