My kids and I have had an amazing experience for the last 6-7 years that they have been going to Martins Point. They are responsive, caring and empathetic. We never feel rushed. I moved them over from another pediatric office and so thankful I did.
Great personal service! I was seen promptly, lesser emergencies such as lacerations (sutures) were rapidly handled "in-house". Dr. R. Nakamura and Dr. C. Bender had outstanding "bed-side manners", their explanations were detailed and clear and follow-up care showed compassion and kindness. They did not notify me that they would no longer refill my prescription until I called them and directly asked why I wasn't receiving calls from my pharmacy when I requested through the online portal despite getting "We'll work on that for you" messages back. When I did hear from them by phone, the administrative rep was extremely rude and condescending in tone about the situation without offering any suggestions for how I could get my prescription filled in the future. Not only are the drs poorly informed they are also ignorant. Thank you for the lack of care.
I'm actually surprised to see so many negative reviews of this clinic. I have been seeing my PCP, Dr. Hine, since about 2017 and I do not have enough great things to say about her. I currently travel about 2 hours to see her and do not want to move to a closer PCP because I know providers like Dr. Hine are so rare. She is a great listener and I feel like she really values me as a patient, asks about what else is going on like mental health, etc. I never feel rushed.
