Rude, disrespectful, no information on how to do things. Would not fill out paperwork to get help with medication instead said set up another appointment and bring in my prescriptions. He has and knows all medications. Waste of time.
I picked Dr. Zapata out of convenience. My mistake, I guess. I've now "established" myself as a patient. This doctor of internal medicine has not once, performed ANY type of exam. In fact, he has not even listened to my heart (history of heart condition). Nor has he taken any instrument of any kind himself to look me over. I am merely a name on a chart who happened to be next in line.
Completely void of any bedside manner, zero follow up, and doesn't return calls. He is lackluster and seems to have very little regard for his patients. Disappointing experience.
He was cold and indifferent. i was in a nursing home for 3 weeks and he did not visit me once. He ordered an ultrasound and never told me the results.
Doesn’t do anything unless you come in. No corrections or suggestions. Doesn’t return calls. Staff totally unhelpful., rude and no caring . Will never return.
i thank this (Doctor ) for his help and suggestions,in making me better .I'm a diabetic and the medicine ,he prescribed for me seems to be working .and i would recommend him .as a mater a fact I'm. gonna try to get him as my primary doctor .if possible ..very satisfied .thank you Dr.Zapata .discharged patient from PIC.(IN DOWNEY)
Doctor Zapata is very courteous and professional. His staff is very respectful and they are good with scheduling appointments. They are very understanding when I have to cancel and reschedule. The wait time is normal, given that they always have people coming to their appointments.
He's all about profit over patient care. Placement in his care was due to my proximity to his office (no other options). I was caught between a rock and a hard place since I had just filed a grievance with my former care provider and was told I MUST wait until the first of December before he would see me. I became ill before that date and he refused to see me unless I paid cash. My social worker asked if he would do a courtesy visit and I was told multiple times by his entire staff, NO.
