Here to echo everybody else's experience. When both buyer agent and everybody on seller side saw it was Martin & Wood we knew this would be a lazy, under market appraisal that would make very little sense and make for potential deal abandonment or having to hire a second appraisal. Inexcusable ineptitude at every level of the appraisal. Literally use anyone else but them. I have never been so disgusted by such an unprofessional report in my life. Do not do business with them under any circumstances.

Pathetic waste of money. The appraisal was a complete joke and far below market value. The bank submitted a reevaluation request, but the appraiser ignored common sense and refused to make any changes. To make matters worse, the appraiser was unprofessional—I removed my shoes before entering to avoid tracking in wet grass, but he left his on and dragged grass all over the carpet. Do not use this company. Choose a professional and accurate appraisal service instead.
