It is now 3 months since I had my left knee fully replaced by Dr Roche. I’ve reviewed him a while back and here is a quick follow up. Yesterday was 3 months to the day that I had the surgery. And yesterday I was on the tennis court with a ball machine, loving every minute Thanks Dr Roche
A doctor in NY, recommended Dr Roche as the surgeon to take care of my issues and am I glad I listened. It is now 6 weeks since my surgery and as I write this I am pain free…. Dr Roche is a caring man, with a nice personality. He surrounds himself with a great staff at HSS. His advice from day one to last week was right on the money regarding a pre surgery exercise as well as post surgery If I were reviewing a restaurant and not a surgeon I would say “ reserve a table now, it’s the vest in town”. Thanks Dr Roche.
I had both TKA’s by Dr. Roche in 2019. I’m truly blessed that he did my surgeries. He performed them with robotic equipment and both legs are finally straight and without pain. He truly has the gift of G-d’s hands. I cannot express how grateful I am to him and his staff for everything!!
I was operated on April 2nd, 2018 for my left knee, and on Oct. 29, 2018 for my right knee, by Dr. Martin Roche. Both operations went exceptionally well. It was worth waiting seven months for these procedures. Dr. Roche explanations at the prior meetings were courteous, precise, and easy to understand. His staff, more particularly Maureen Rosario , is well trained, competent and efficient. The services provided by Holy Cross Hospital, after surgeries ( nursing and physiotherapy ), were excellent.
He did an incredible job on my full knee replacement. However he did something we did not discuss or approve in advance. He straightened my leg where I am no longer bowlegged as a surprise at no charge. I forget I have a knee replacement. It is simply my knee except when I go through security at the airport.
First impressions are always the ones you remember. Today I had an appointment with Dr. Roche to discuss having a knee replacement. Dr. Roche explained everything meticulously with his splendid bedside manor. I did schedule an appointment for a knee replacement with extreme confidence in Dr. Roche. I waited 3 months for the appointment, but it was worth the wait. Also, I must mention his staff who was friendly and informative as well.

Dr. Roche has replaced both my knees. I can not say enough good about him, as I was able to walk unassisted around the house within 4 days after surgery.
He did a total knee replacement on my right knee. He is the best. Very kind, compassionate. Takes time with you to explain everything and makes sure you understand everything. Would highly recommend him in a heartbeat.
