Excellent attention given to the patient.
I’ve known Dr. Derrow for more than 30 plus years. He has been trusted and honest with his patients. He is not afraid of you disagreeing with him and honors your decisions. Thank you Dr Derrow for your care and support.
It was a bit of a wait to see Dr. Derrow, but definitely worth it. He listened to concerns and addressed them adequately. I never felt rushed during the appointment and the environment is breast feeding friendly.
horrible process organization. I spend usualy 1-2 hours waiting for my appointment.
My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Derrow for over a decade. We have always been impressed with his professionalism and his skills as an internist. He has done a wonderful job of helping us through many difficult health situations. He has always spent as much time as we need to make sure we are comfortable with his treatment plan and that we fully understand what is happening. He has even called us at home when the situation was that important. He cares deeply about patient wellfare.
As a medical professional myself, I have no hesitation in saying that Dr. Derrow is an outstanding physician with respect to his knowledge and professionalism. If his appointments tend to run a little late, it is because of the care he gives to every patient. His skills are more than worth a little extra time in the waiting room.
I will start off by saying I think the doctor is good however, the staff team is the worst. Even after making an appointment a year in advance your wait time is still an hour after appointment time. The last time I was there an elderly man was there with his wheelchair ridden wife had been waiting for 2 hours before walking out. The staff never pickup the phone when you call or leave you on permanent hold. They tell you they will call you back and never do. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTORS OFFICE!
Dr. Derrow is an excellent doctor, however, "On-TIme scheduling", does not happen here. Occasional appointment delays are expected & accepted due to emergencies, but in this office, it is a given that one will have anywhere from 1 - 2 hours wait time & that is to finally get vitals checked & into a room to wait. For those with medical issues other than a wellness check, this is too long to wait, especially after driving across town & always being there in advance of scheduled appointment.
Smart doctor? Wasn't smart enough to find my problem. He also was never taught manners or even the basics of common courtesy. He seems extremely threatened by intelligence, and doesn't like answering questions. Smiling, happy pics of him on vacation are all over office, but attitude is that he would prefer to be anywhere else but work. You literally have 5-6 minutes before he is out the door. Office staff is friendly - but why is every single person who works there weigh 250 lbs or more?
