Dr. Fishman performed cataract surgery on both eyes. I went from nearly blind to 20/20 vision. He is a great doctor and using modern technologies that really work. Highly recommended!
I have been a patient of Dr. Mastman for more than 30 years. Simply put, he is one of the best. Dr. Mastman instills great confidence and has a wonderful “bedside manner.” We now travel more than 2 1/2 hours to see him.
I liked Doctor Langell, however her billing department is a real problem. I just (June 11, 2022) received a bill for an exam in May, 2020. Seriously!?! In May of 2021 I was assured that even though they had dropped VSP my medical insurance would cover my annual exam. I told them I didn't want any surprises. Surprise! I received a bill for $200+. I paid it (in protest) and had my records sent to another doctor. The doctor is good, their billing system is horrendous. Find another doctor/office for your optometry needs.
I took my sister to the Cataract surgery early Monday morning. Long story short, her eye conditions were more complicated than regular patients who need the Cataract surgery so some ophthalmologists we saw before were not willing (or maybe not experienced enough) to help her. Before Monday, she almost could not see anything on her right eye. In our time health-care system lacks compassion, it feels that meds and surgeries, scans and therapies and tests have become a priority in medicine and that compassion — main part of medicine — has become an afterthought in patient care. I would like to praise Dr. Fishman for his compassion competency, great communication and patient skills and his genuine kindness --all things patients should be able to expect from their doctors.
