Mike Cockrum at Martin & Harris has been awesome to work with! Compelled to write this great review for both sales and delivery! Mike Cockrum was great in working with me on Washer/Dryer sale. I had done my homework on Consumer Reports and based on my family needs and budget he recommended a great Speed Queen pair that I love. The delivery was on time and Jose Acosta was a total professional. Delighted with the experience, and will be back for a new range, microwave and dishwasher in the near future! Thanks :)

Martin & Harris Appliances is hiding on the Miracle Mile in San Rafael -- it's nondescript storefront is thoroughly forgettable. We found it only because a friendly compulsive shopaholic turned us onto it. We needed a dryer, they sold us one at the lowest price in Marin, delivered it to us free on the next business day and recycled our old machine. They have an attractive and informative website - you can check them out there before you cruise the Miracle Mile to look for their store

Before my delivery today from Martin Harris and after reading experiences of recent customers, I became slightly nervous that the company I had known for decades may have had a change in its service mission. although after my experience with Sears, and having to return to washing machines and under two weeks I figured it could only get worse if the house collapsed! I have had good experiences with Martin and Harris for more than 40 years and have found the service department to be well-organized, punctual and efficient. I just had my refrigerator repaired and was very pleased.

I have been a customer since 1978. I am happy to report that they really follow through with their promise to repair the products they sell and install. I live in the San Geronimo Valley and I have learned that if I buy an appliance from one of the "box" stores...I'll be out of luck locating someone to come out to the Valley to fix it!

Surprised about all the negative reviews. I had a good experience, so thought I'd share. I needed a fridge, washer and dryer in a hurry. I dealt with two different salesmen, and they were both efficient and friendly. I told them my budget (cheap!) and they were able to find me the appliances I needed and get them delivered right away. There was only one minor snafu: the delivery guys forgot to take away the old appliances, but one quick call and the guys came back and picked it all up. Dan was great. He alerted us to the fact that the original unit we ordered was substantially smaller than the original. So we went ahead, got the larger one ordered and went that! We would have been pretty miserable without his guidance. Thank you guys!
