Called about getting hair cuts. Inequitable pricing for genders! Told by two people that mens haircuts are $25 and womens are $30. Asked why women pay more and who decides who a man or women is? After being shuffled back and forth and getting the same quote on price, but no answers to my questions, I gave up! We go to barbershops/hair salons where everyone is charged the same price. I came to this shopping center to get haircuts for my brother(who is white) and was once again reminded of how disrespectful and dismissive the service in this area can be—especially toward Black customers. The receptionist was polite, but the stylist in the back gave one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever seen. She didn’t line it up properly, chopped off the sideburns unevenly, and still had the nerve to charge $40 for it/laughed in my face. I don’t often write bad reviews. I came here to get my hair colored and I ended up a striped highlighted skunk from the 90’s. The haircut was terrible and the color was awful. They partially charged me because of the terrible color. I was still willing to pay, but I was crying when I left and had to go get it redone again.
