I wasn't feeling well yesterday and wanted some soup. When I went in to mars cafe I saw that they had roasted red pepper soup and thought that might be good but I was worried that it might be spicy. The guy behind the counter said it was great so I asked him if I could have a grilled cheese with it. He said it wasn't on the menu but he would love to make me one. I also had some hot chocolate. Seriously, best meal ever! I will definitely come back!
Great coffee drinks. The single origin pour & the latte were both excellent. The food was tasty too. We were traveling though & looking for a great cup of joe and some breakfast food. It lived up to all of our hopes.
The Spunik is delicious! The staff was very friendly and I loved the atmosphere of the cafe, and the food was great too!
We decided to try Mars Cafe today. We ordered and got a seat right away. A half hour later, we still didn't have our breakfast food. If we hadn't paid we would have left. They were not that busy. They didn't hear me order a "By the Mug" coffee, which was the first item I ordered. They did give it to me complimentary. The coffee was bitter. I order the breakfast burrito, special with toast. Some of the best coffee I've found anywhere. I've traveled all the over the U.S. and make a point to find local coffee shops who specialize in pour-overs and chemex brews. I have not found one that is better than our local Mars Cafe. The baristas and staff are also very friendly and extremely talented. They know what they're doing and they enjoy it as well.
