RecommendedThis is a beautiful spot in Dana Point, CA. Beautiful grounds and very nice clean rooms. Unfortunately for the high prices the food is at best mediocre and worse it's very expensive. Gorgeous views and terrific pools and good amenities such as bicycles, boogie boards etc are "included "In the ridiculous resort fee.

Beautiful place. The location is outstanding, close to beach & harbor and lots to do in the area, all within walking distance. The resort property is beautiful, two nice pools and water views to die for.
So impressed with the staff here! First class. Especially the gentleman that checked us in. He asked what brought us here and told him that we were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and that 34 years ago we met here in Dana Point. He had a Anniversary gift waiting for us when we got done with the pool. Maclean Campbell you rock! That is taking customer service to the next level
Loved the newly remodeled rooms. Staff were attentive and friendly. We had a great experience spending the day by the pool. Staff were friendly and quick to get you anything. This was our 2nd stay and it was a fantastic experience.
My husband and I live in Orange County and were looking for a night away from the kiddos - we chose this resort for the view and proximity to home. We were BLOWN away by the service at the pool, for such a young staff they were incredibly attentive with no pretension or entitlement. There are only 2 reasons why I didn't give 5 stars. 1. There was some sort of funky smell in the room when we checked in, it was air freshener or something so we did not raise the issue. 2.
