Ok from Atlanta and came down and is still here celebrating my daughters birthday.....so starts off good did self parking that was okay.... gets to the room chilling just a tad right making vids and stuff with the fam..... Was about to relax and notice ANTS..... YES ANTS!!!!! Room was nice and clean, staff (especially bartender Mike) were super friendly, and it has a very nice pool area. Now for the reality! Everywhere we went in the entire hotel there was garbage (wrappers, plastic bottles, empty glasses, left over food). 1 time a bellperson got off the elevator and we pointed out a catsup packet someone had stepped on the floor...his response "I am glad I don't have to clean that up". Great service & staff. The staff was exceptional always smiling & paying attention to detail. The charity event went extremely well.
Resort was ok but disappointing that they offered me 1500 points (500 each night) not to have my room serviced. They only applied 500 points and now I have to wait another two weeks for them to "look into it" and maybe apply the points AND I may have to call the Marriott rewards instead of the hotel directly to get the outcome. Turns a potentially positive customer touchpoint and positive bonus point offer into a very poor experience!
