Can't go wrong with a Marriot Resort
Great hotel... and they'll charge you for it as well.
Great Orlando convention hotel. Huge pool. Multiple dining options. Great place for the family to hang during convention business. Didn't really care for paying for parking while there, but... Oh well. Overall, could do much worse.
Wrapping up a week here, I can't say it will be my first choice upon my next visit to orlando. The staff is terrific, the food good, the prices highway robbery, the rooms seriously need refreshing. My toilet kept running- had to jiggle the handle, the place just seems a bit old, housekeeping was clearly understaffed they'd isn't get to my room til late in the day. There are just too many other choices and nothing to really make this place stand out, Marriott's own Gaylord Palms was a better experience when I was there a few ... read more

I despise this place.
Beautiful resort, but don't plan on walking off-property for food or fun. The nearest option is at least a mile away with no sidewalk and a six lane intersection with no pedestrian crosswalk. The pool area is amazing, a thrifty food court option, video game arcade, and great views from the balconies.
