This is a best place to come for a vacation and bring family and kids this is my second time coming hear
Checked in this Tuesday. As soon as I get my room and head to the North Tower it smells like cigarette Smoke. Luckily I was able to get another room. Some good news, the pool is cool! Some bad news, don't eat at Siro, the Italian place, they gave me food poisoning and the quality of food is horrible, not worth it. When I brought it to the attention of the hotel they offered me $50 then after laughing at their "charity"they offered a $100 hotel credit to compensate. Worst vacation ever!!
Fabulous place - spent 3 xmas/new year vacations here and about to book our 4th. It's a 9 hour flight but definitely worth it - just love it
If you are used to staying at Marriott hotels and Marriott service, you will likely be disappointed at this hotel. Valet service is the worst I've ever seen with lengthy wait times to drop-off and pick-up and they frequently turn call ahead valet off so you are forced to wait outside. No one offers to help with bags, room cleaning is mediocre and there are no perks for being a gold member. The beds are not comfortable and the room received didn't match the description. I stayed at this hotel last night with my husband for Valentine's Day. I have never had such a terrible experience in my life. The disaster began when we had to wait for over an hour just to check in. We were told that valet was full and that we had to park in a distant lot and take a shuttle to the hotel, even though valet was included in our "package". The price tag is high. The food is decent but priced well above its value. Parking is a 10min walk and $18 a day. Customer Service should be exemplary in a hotel of this caliber. However this is not the case. While at the hotel, we lost a coat with rental car keys inside it. Hotel staff assured us the coat had not been turned in to Lost and Found. We checked in 3 locations every day. On day 4, we finally paid $300 to have the car towed and rekeyed. The following day they found the coat and keys and said it had "been backlogg... read more
The staff and resort are amazing. I highly recommend this resort.
Service at this hotel has gotten worse by the day. If we weren't attending a conference for the next 3 days we would leave and go to another hotel. Based on our experience over the last 48 hours and a bad experience we had just last week at a Marriott hotel, I wouldn't recommend this hotel group.
