Marquis is a great place to live I’ve been in San Antonio for eight months and the staff here is wonderful. The ladies at the office are always helpful and very sweet. If you move to San Antonio and need a place to live marquis at the rim is where you want to be
Really happy here at Avana. The combination of location, aesthetics, staff, responsiveness, maintenance and price are really unmatched. If you want to live in the Rim area at an affordable, nice place, you really can't beat it. Maintenance and office staff are by far best you'll ever experience in apartment living. Never had any maintenance take more than a day. Parking can suck and the gates malfunction pretty often, but my roommate and I have renewed here and really enjoy it overall. Yesterday I went to the pool it was so dirty not cleaned even today i went to the pool same thing is repeated you guyss need to work out
Staff is unprofessional and unwilling to cooperate when confronted with legitimate real world issues. Blamed "system and process" instead of working with potential new residents. Looks like a case of "screening"...went down the road, the SAME DAY to a "newer facility" with the same "process and system" and had no supposed "issues" that were at Avana. Spent $500 more on rent also at a "Luxury" complex and am happy to do so, good customer skills are not that hard. Solving problems can be done, if your willing or know how.
This is the fourth apartment I've lived in San Antonio and it's the only one I'm renewing in. Maintenance is good, it always seems to be the same guy but he does great work! The facility is kept up well. The quality of neighbors is good and the front office staff is pretty good too. The only major downside is that both my boyfriend's car and my own car has been hit while parked in this parking lot. No note. And I wish they would redo the bathroom.
This was one of the best complexes I've lived in. I used to be the courtesy officer at the sister property The Haven located at the corner of Blanco Rd and Bitters Rd. Out of the two, I like Avana @ The Rim just because of the easy access to The Rim shopping center, The Shops @ La Cantera mall and other surrounding attractions. It is in an ideal location. Would have stayed had they not tried to raise my rent by almost $400/month
