I’m approaching my second year as a resident at Marquis! I had such a great experience during my first year that I decided to renew for another, but this time in a different unit within the same building that had been vacant for some time. Typical landlord DIY stories:/ My family and I have lived in these apartments for over a year now when we began noticing the grout falling off and exposing a thick layer of mold in our bath. It seems as if the maintenance team covered it up with caulking instead of taking care of the problem to ensure the wellbeing of future tenants. I reached out to them by setting up a maintenance appointment to which they didn’t show up to. Maintenance: ⭐️ IF* I could I would give it 0 stars.

This review score is due primarily to the community cockroach infestation, high RUBS per unit utility costs, community crime, & the customer service interactions I've had with the leasing staff for almost 2 years. I understand that crime has no address & neither do cockroaches. However, since day 1 I've had questions over the integrity of the staff. So far so good. Little over a 3 months* in and the staff is very responsive and helpful. The premises feels more like a home than an apartment if I'm to be honest but of course milage may vary. Grounds are very well kept, communication seems great as far as any security issues. I've not experienced any kids partying so hard the entire neighborhood gets disturbed. It seems like a more mature area, though this may just be lucky for me and my building. I like it. Just have to get through winter to see if the place can properly ... read more
