Highly disappointed....... service was horrible, my wife and I were so excited when we heard it was being rebuilt after burning down. The menu is nothing of what it used to be. The new owners new nothing of the old menu. Our server was horrible only complained that "they were so busy" even though we watched as other tables that were seated after us get there orders delivered to their table. This used to be a good family restaurant now it's more of a hipster bar where you can go to have a drink and maybe order off the menu. T... read more

Took my daughter to dinner on Valentine's Day and was very pleased. The bread sticks were absolutely delicious! I had a cheeseburger and fries and couldn't come close to finishing all of my fries. My daughter had a chicken Caesar salad. She said the chicken was really good but since the romaine leaves were whole and very large, it was difficult to eat. We only had a 20 minute wait, our food came out quickly, and the service was friendly. We'll be back for sure.
Friday night the bottom bun of my burger was so saturated with grease you couldn't pick it up.
We drove by just to see if it was open last night, weren't hungry but decided to go in anyway. Seated immediately (but it was early before 5:00 pm,) Twenty minutes later they were full. Anxious to try the steak when we haven't recently eaten although the prices are definitely on the high side. Good, we will be back but please put John Wayne back on the wall.
Thank you for the excellent dinner! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food!
My husband and I cooked at the MarKum Inn just over 10 years ago... this is where we met. Coming back to the NEW MarKum Inn, I wasn't overly impressed. We came on a Sunday night, and had the prime rib (which wasn't the same). The homelike feeling is gone, the bar opens up to the restaurant so it is all in one room. The layout is totally different. I was hoping to see the "old" Markum Inn in this new building. Not one thing in the restaurant reminds me of the old... it is 100% new and replaced. Decent place to eat however.
Markum Inn has a 4.3 star rating with 1,803 reviews.
Markum Inn is closed now. It will open on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
