The food was excellent. Service was slow and inefficient. It had a nice vibe.
Good food. New building open and bright. Home made style.
We were seated right away. Our server was very good. There were 6 of us and there were mixed reviews on the food. My burger was very good and the fries seasoned perfectly. My husbands fried chicken was excellent, the Brussel sprouts were tough. We will definitely go back!
Good food got better service this time Great atmosphere
I was disappointed. Long wait time. Too small of a table for 5 people. I have had better onion rings. My grilled chicken was bone dry. Wife's steak was sent to wrong table and by the time they realized the mistake there were no more baked potatoes. Sorry to see that it didn't live up to it's reputation.
Very good food. Everything cooked with firewood (No gas or electricity). We had the MarKum Burger and their version of a french dip. The burger had ham and bacon on it. To our suprise the chef sent us out a free stuffed baked potato. Since there was more than enough food on our plates already, the potato went home with us for dinner. From sandwiches to prime rib to pizza, you can't go wrong. Looking forward to some of that prime rib on our next visit.
The service was outstanding, very attentive. No longer will this be the best kept secret. The word is out, Markum Inn is back and serving up great meals with a smile.
Went there on a Wednesday evening.no waiting and food was very good. Waitress was a bit lacking as far as menu items and bar options. Also we were not served water and meal never came with veggies. No biggie but not the norm that we are accustomed to. We will go back some time.
Great food, service, & atmosphere.
