I have gotten a number of my tattoos here, or from ppl who have moved on from here. 20 years ago I got my first one at Marks of Art, by Dave Flowers... I went back to Dave for two more, and had Clem do two more after he had moved on to Santa Cruz, hometown. Would recommend Marks of Art to anyone.
Great shop, cool vibe, Javier was my artist and did an amazing job. Will be going back there for the next one. The price was great and they took me and my bestie as walk in appts !
I went in to Marks of Art yesterday to get a butterfly tattoo on my arm. Marks of Art already had done two, one on each ankle. Chris was able to take me in. He drew up the pattern & expressed concern that my skin might to too old for a good tattoo. I told him to go for it, it would just be an old butterfly (I'm 74). Chris was extremely careful & did beautiful line work & coloring. My 3-dimensional Monarch butterfly came out perfectly. Chris, Isabella, & others there were polite, nice, & fun.
