I had a horrible experience with Marketwise. They hired a local appraiser and did an appraisal that came in showing almost 1,000 sq ft discrepancy. This significantly lowered the value of the property. I produced an appraisal from 2 years earlier and the county/town property card showing the correct square footage. They did not have the appraisal corrected, nor did they refund my money. This lower appraisal cost me the refinance. Marketwise did nothing to help me out!
