Nice ambiance but this place is overpriced for the food and service. Our waitress barely checked on us. Pasta dishes were mediocre. I ate less than half of my lasagna and when they boxed it to go, they omitted all of the sauce. I didn't want to make a fuss but for a $18 plate of lasagna that I barely ate, and tipping well for poor service, I called to complain. Went here for my birthday and had a wonderful time! Delicious Pear martinis. My rib eye was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Only negative was my daughters Chicken Cesar Salad. Dressing needs a little improving. Other than that, had a great time!

Loved the Cob Salad, the Pizza fell apart when you tried to pick up and eat it. Breakfast was good , but the potatoes were hard . Would try it again tho !!!
Delish! Waitress talked up the pork belly to my husband and then came back and said they were out .... Other than that everything was great!
Just had the braised short rib and it was sooo tender, the polenta was creamy and the baby carrots were delish. Hubby had chioppono and almost licked the bowl. Meal was well worth the 1 1/2 hour wait ... Drinks and appetizers in bar good too.

Market tavern staff. Recently I mistakenly had click on one Star for the rating of the restaurant. I had know intentions to give The Tavern a bad rating. I have heard nothing but good things . I unfortunately have only one opportunity to dine their. For a company party So too Phillip,Nick and Jeff please except my sincere apologies.
