From start to finish as a first time guest was amazing!! Food was incredible and our server was very helpful in navigating the menu! We are already planning our second visit and bringing friends with us!!!

The service ruined the whole experience for me. We were talked down to from the very beginning and they did not accommodate our group nor our requests. Don't come here with large groups, and definitely don't bring your own cake to have after the meal because they will charge you a bullshit "cakage" fee for every slice cut without disclosing this to you beforehand. The owner is so rude and condescending and treated us like children from the second we walked in. They charged for things they didn't disclose and was unwilling to explain the policy. Do not bring a large party here unless one person plans to pay the whole bill.
Both the environment and quality of food were excellent. This is a good place to eat, an opinion given without any hesitation. Of course it all depends on your chemistry with the place and its people. Enjoy.

So last night, 7/25/15, my girlfriend and I attempted to have a dinner date at your restaurant. When we approached the hostess for seating, we were told that they were taking no more walk ins for the night because a large party reserved the majority of the restaurant. I found this odd because it was 7:50, when I asked about sitting at the bar I was ignored feeling unwelcome. This restaurant is a gem located in Lincoln Center in Stockton. The food is top shelf and the staff is so friendly and know their menus. We haven't had a problem here ever! We highly recommend this tavern if your looking for good food and a great time! Enjoy!!!
