The Market Tavern was a new experience for us and another couple, and a most positive one. We could find nothing we did not like. All excellent! Creative menu, outstanding wine list, the very best in service! We originally all are from the Bay Area and it reminded us of favorite San Francisco restaurants with large cloth napkins, open cooking area with view of the chefs, comfortable ambiance, most delicious chicken pot pies, lovely wines to choose from and the best pistachio gelato ever!. Market Tavern has it all, excellent drinks, food and service.
went In at 4:30 yesterday the hostesses didnt welcome us. Then they said we would have to be done in an hour and for sure be out by 6:00. We reluctantly agreed and couldn't believe we were told that. We order our food....sodas are flat. waited till 5:15 and told the waitress we were leaving. I've never had such poor, rude service. I ordered a salad!!

Great options, great atmosphere, Great service... Came in from Chicago and went with best friends, had a great time. Could stay open a bit later during the week though😊
