Dr. Smith repaired a macular hole and he did such an awesome procedure, also explained what would be the outcome so not to expect any surprises. Staff at the out patient Pavilion were very nice and kind, they all know how to comfort and calm you down. 😊
SINCE 12-3-2021 AFTER HE DID MY LEFT EYE RETINAL DETACHMENT I DO NOT HAVE SEVERE DRIED EYES- ONE DOWN JUST MY SEVERE VISUAL MIGRAINS WHICH I NEVER HAD i RATED HIM FR 1 TO 10 HE IS IN 11 AND HIS STAFF AS WELL PRIOR OF MY EYES SURGERY I HAVE HEALTY RETINAL DETACHMENT - DO NOT HAVE FLOATERS EVEN
Mark Smith is an excellent doctor. I have been going to him for 3 years and I would highly recommend him and his clinic, San Diego Retina Association. He also has an excellent staff.
Had detatched retina and post op edema problems, allowed Smith to try 3 vitrectomies. I am blind now in the eye he treated...because he kept saying to wait for swelling to go down. Mark why didnt you refer me to Shiley when you could not fix swelling. Went to Shiley and they fixed swellling but too late. I am blind in right eye which is bicyclists ride .
