A man that is extremely caring and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Every time I was treated by Dr. Sapienza, I always left feeling great about my treatment.
From start to finish the Gastroenterology group of northern NJ made it easy for my colonoscopy procedure. I highly recommend them. Staff is efficient, caring and professional.

NP came in without asking me if I was ok with seeing her prior to seeing Dr. Sapienza, who my appointment was with. NP takes my history. She seems confused about what I’m explaining. She gets Dr. Sapienza- who comes in and immediately says (without talking to me first) “there’s nothing we can do for this”. I spend the next 3 minutes or so trying to undo the assumptions he made from the NP report. He’s dismissive since he made his judgement before coming into the room. I liked Dr. Sapienza the moment he introduced himself. He is incredibly personable and there's something about his energy that is calming. My visit was for my 1st colonoscopy and I feel very fortunate to have had it with this doctor because I was a bit anxious about the procedure. That changed once we spoke and post-procedure he was the same. I recommend him, especially if it's your first procedure. Facility is super clean and the front office staff were super nice. I find Dr. Sapienza competent, kind and extremely caring. My entire family goes to Dr. Sapienza and we couldn’t be more pleased. The entire staff is extremely nice and that is a pleasure to see in today’s world. I would recommend Dr. Sapienza to anyone with pride.
