I saw Dr. Butler years ago, complaining of knee pain. He seemed very rushed and uninterested and didn't take time to explain anything. Needless to say, I did not go back. I found a wonderful orthopedic surgeon closer to home and had a successful knee replacement.
I waited weeks for my appointment. It was confirmed 48 hours prior. I arrived early and was informed by a rude woman that "Dr Butler is not here."My appointment slip confirmed I was correct on the date and time. The woman then told me I had received a cancellation call. I most certainly did not. The woman offered no apology or help of any kind. She expected me to leave without even offering to reschedule my appointment. I never saw a doctor, but waited 20 minutes for the office manager.
Misdiagnosed my son who was injured playing hockey. Discharged him to drive an hour and a half back to school. Had to go to another ER next morning. Totally missed the diagnosis and what he told us was broken... wasn’t . My son kept telling staff that wasn’t were it hurt. Also the accurate diagnosis had some frightening complications associated with it. Furious and frustrated.
He did unnecessary surgery and left me in very bad shape. I wish I could have seen someone else.
For Knee pain. He advised XRay and although there was nothing wrong, I preferred him to proabably advice me as to what was needed to alleviate the pain.I can't say he is good or bad or best or worst from the experience I had who is paying for the visit.
Any question asked of him he explained all to my satisfaction. That is the important thing I could ask of him.
