Scammer who went out of business.
We were rescheduled a very short time before our appointment due to the doctor feeling ill. When we returned, no one including the dr wore masks. We waited 50 minutes to be seen. The front desk lady was very nice & explained things, but Dr. Taylor did not say hi, didn’t explain anything to my kid, just grabbed her foot, sprayed it & started numbing he toe. He was very rude & condescending even when he was told she was nervous. We will not return. He was the worst dr I have ever met.
He prescribed me a medication that made me feel ill. When I told him, he prescribed something that my pharmacist actually questioned me about - she said it was actually a much stronger version of the same med. During the first visit, he very sloppily covered my feet in plaster casts for orthotics. What I ended up with (more than $400 later) was literally a flimsy Dr. Scholls with a crudely cut piece of hard plastic glued on the bottom. He was also rude and abrupt. I would recommend anyone steer clear of him.
Do not go to this doctor for any reason! I wish I would have read these reviews before I scheduled this appointment. I was so dissatisfied with Dr. Taylor. After waiting for 20 minutes, he rushes in, and tells me what toenail fungus I have and what drug I need to take. He was abrupt and rude when I asked if there were natural treatments available. He didn't want to spend any time explaining the cause or anything. I walked out thinking that I would get a second opinion and never return.
Waited for months to get in and then was rude and wouldn't work on my father's toe nails.
Do NOT use Dr. Taylor. I REPEAT, DO NOT use Dr. Taylor. After waiting 45 minutes on him in the exam room, he came in without apologizing about the long wait. Didn’t need spend more than 5 minutes with me, was rude and dismissive to my concerns and questions. Told me to go schedule a procedure with the receptionist without telling me what the procedure was or why I needed it. The next pod i saw was shocked with the treatment regimen I was given and said it would hurt more than it would help!!!!
If you are in Lawrence don't use this guy, He took 6 weeks to make me $500 orthotics and wasted all my FMLA. After my rehab didn't work, I told him that my heal was still very painful and he said to point to the area that hurt, I pointed to the heal and he replied he can not treat me any more because he does not do ankles. I went to KC and after a 20 minute exam another doctor showed me I needed surgery.. Instead of complaining about Obama care you should learn how to give care.
I have had 3 foot procedures completed by Dr. Mark Taylor. Dr. Taylor removed broken sesamoids on both feet, two on the right one on the left. I healed up well, was given accurate expectations for healing and am returning to work without much difficulty. In a few weeks I will be able to return to running.
