Our baby was in the NICU for 25 days and we loved Dr. Sheffield! He provided excellent care to her and was very personable with us. It felt like he really cared about us and our baby. We loved his jokes and he made our traumatic experience feel a little less scary! He’s a great doctor!
It’s been 2 years since my son received care from this man in the NICU at McKay Dee. It was largely a traumatic experience for my husband and I because of him (and the supervising nurse named Melanie). He had no interest in showing respect or compassion for people already in a traumatic situation.
