Dr. Goodwin was with us when my Mother died in 2015. I could not have asked for a more compassionate, kind and skilled doctor to walk us through the end. He absolutely did everything possible to save her and then held our hands when it was past what is possible. We consider ourselves fortunate to know him.

A relative had a TAVR performed by him at Edwards, Naperville. His office staff is overwhelmingly helpful BEFORE you sign the forms to have the operation. They talk to you, answer questions....After you sign, they don't know you...and that's when you have the most questions. After the operation, and all the pills that are prescribed, you REALLY have questions, but you can't get to talk to the doctor and the doctor's right hand assistants are not helpful..you're a bother.

HORRENDOUS! Dr. Goodwin has been repeatedly lying to my elderly mother since the Summer. She had a procedure scheduled-he cancelled and rescheduled 2 times. The simple procedure could no longer be completed by the time he rescheduled it. She has contacted his office, his cell phone in which he told her to call, his PA and his assistant- no return calls. She has trusted this man for 10 years and feel unworthy of his care and wonders now if she gets the run around due to being a Medicare patient.

Dr Goodwin is a doctor that has heart and great compassion. My dad was going to meet with Dr Goodwin to discuss correction options for severe aortic stenosis. Before my dad had that chance he suffered a severe stroke. My sister who is an RN wondered if fixing the aortic stenosis would help him recover from his stroke. Dr Goodwin with compassion and empathy helped us come to terms with dads stroke/heart issues. He shared his faith and personal experience with us. Grateful for his prescence.

There is no doctor in Naperville that is more competent in the field of coronary heart disease. I believe he is distinguished because he continues to save lives with a sense of urgency; he is dedicated, kind, honest and forthright in his communications with patients. It is also critical that his N. P. (Morgan) is so well versed in all procedures Dr. Goodwin performs; she makes herself available to patients when Dr. Goodwin is in the Lab. Her perspective is extraordinarily professional.
