Not only is he an excellent surgeon but also cares very much about his patients. He listens to you and takes care of any concerns you have. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Hadfield and his staff at Ortho VA are very responsive to their patients needs. My last appointment with Dr. Hadfield was punctual and he was able to identify the issue with my right knee quickly. With quick steroid shot in my knee I was out of his office in no time. My pain was resolved to my full satisfaction.
I have used Dr. Hadfield in the past for knee problems and been very happy with the results. Now I have a shoulder problem and my primary care doctor reminded me he also does shoulders. I am sure he will again make me better. Knees or shoulders you can’t go wrong with Dr. Hadfield.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hadfield’s for nearly 5 years. He performed a minisectomy on my knee 6 months ago. I returned for a follow up visit & cortisone injection to reduce inflammation. I appreciate his no nonsense, honest approach to patient care.

I have had arthritis in my knees for many years and it affects my functioning. Dr Hatfield suggested replacement but left the decision entirely up to me. He explained what would happen and the length of recovery, and made a referral to a colleague for further assessment.
I saw Dr. Hadfield for a knee issue. My meniscus had two tears that needed surgery. I cannot tell you how pleased I was with Dr. Hadfield. He was very thorough when he explained what was wrong with my knee and then what needed to be done to correct my issues. My surgery went great and I know that the success of my surgery was due to Dr. Hadfield's skill as a Dr. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing knee surgery.
