Highly recommend Dr. Hadfield, excellent Surgeon, he made it possible for me to continue doing my job as a Dental Assistant , after repairing my torn rotator cuff with excellent results!
I just completed the year-long process of repair of a torn rotator cuff (plus arthritis and bone spurs in the same shoulder). My experience was terrific. From the initial exam, imaging, final diagnosis, surgery, postoperative visits, months of physical therapy, and final assessment, things went smoothly and successfully. I am thrilled with the outcome, and couldn't be happier with Dr. Hadfield, OrthoVa techs and nurses, physical therapy department, and office staff. I wouldn't hesitate to go to them again.
He has a warm bedside manner which you don’t see a lot these days. I can’t say enough about him!
Dr. Hadfield was everything you want in a surgeon! The complete information is given to you and you can ask about the full experience this surgery will entail. Hi performed surgery on both shoulders to perfection. I now have full range of motion. I am 76 and grateful for Dr. Hadfield and all his staff.
Dr. Hadfield did a great job repairing my worn out shoulder. I had a torn tendon, spurs, and other damage. He explained everything thoroughly, and has a great bedside manner. I have recommended him to my friends
I had rotator cuff surgery in October 2021. Dr Hadfield did an excellent job not only for the surgery itself but the follow up visits. He noticed I was having pain in my wrist due to using my cane with my left had and gave me a cortisone shot which helped a lot.
Dr. Hadfield was sympathetic and understanding. He gave me a cortisone shot in my right knee to help me avoid surgery.
I saw Dr. Hadfield in April, 2022 for a painful knee which was quickly becoming harder to walk. My PMD had an MRI done so I would have that done before my appointment. I had a bad experience with another Ortho (not from Ortho Virginia) he was very experienced, informative, kind and took his time examining my knee, had X rays of both knees done right there and went over all images, pointed out the tears, reviewed and explained the Radiologist’s findings and then we discussed my options. I had a prior rotator cuff surgery in 2020. It was the best medical experience I have ever had. I never waited longer then 10 minutes and the care given to me during the entire process was extraordinary. Dr Hadfield and his staff kept me informed and it’s easy to see they really care about their patients.
