He did a great job explaining the problem, and describing exactly what to expect during treatment and recovery. His staff did a great job of coordinating everything right up to the day of surgery.
Dr. Hodgson discussed the need for surgery to my Right hand and provided a visual of the injury; explained why I have limited mobility of my fingers. He also explained the healing process and the importance of therapy after the surgery.
My appointment was on time. Everyone was very friendly and compassionate. I got an injection and set up PT all at the initial appointment. Dr Hodgson spent a lot of time with me and explained everything in terms I could understand. Very painless and efficient appointment!
Reception, admitting, therapy, medical assistant staff all are so friendly and kind. Dr. Hodgson does a complete and thorough examination and educate you along the way. He is a delight to talk to, and explains your injuries thoroughly and will even sketch out what happened so you understand. I would highly recommend Dr. Hodgson! He is taking amazing care of my husband and I.
Smart Dr, but old fashioned! Made it seem like surgery was the only option and had to make a decision the day of my visit. Treats pain as though it’s mental. I see in another review he did this to another patient. I feel you could do better.
I was very comfortable and confident from the start with Dr. Hodgson. He is extremely thorough and does not ever rush through a visit. He explains everything very well and has provided drawings to better explain things that were going on with my hand and thumb. Had my accident in May, 2019, had surgery and rehab. Dr. Hodgson was kind, patient and understanding. He treated me as a person, not just a patient. He explained everything he was going to do before and later re-explained things I didn't "catch" initially. His office staff and hospital staff were all extremely polite and caring. Would easily recommend Dr. Hodgson to family or friends.
I had surgery for Dupuytren's contracture. Dr. Hodgson was kind, respectful, extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job with my surgery. I would absolutely recommend him. My entire experience from consultation through post-op was entirely positive. The surgical staff, office staff, and physical therapy staff were all excellent!
Excellent Bedside manner. Never rushes you during appointments. Highly recommend!
