Good to see so many positive reviews, which is why I decided to chime in as well. I have had Dr. Beal as my dentist for over 15 years, and although I have been tempted to go elsewhere out of convienience, I have stayed with Dr. Beal both for his professionalism and truely exceptional care. I do miss the old office, though I must admit that the new space is much better and the equipment is from this century!
I have recently visited Dr. Beal's office after reading the reviews on this site, and I am highly satisfied with my experience. First of all, I ended up saving a lot of money by not having to follow an expensive and complicated procedure as claimed required by my previous dentist. Dr. Beal gave me a full explanation of why I only needed a dental filling instead of a crown--imagine the trauma and dollars saved! I have moved many times in my life and forced into using new dentists. It has always struck me as odd that each new dentist pointed out some new "problem" that I had, that no preceeding dentist had ever mentioned. In some cases expensive procedures were suggested and I went for second opinions and was told there is not a "problem". So trust is very important to me! That is one reason I really like Dr. Beal. DR. Beal is the BEST! I've gone to him many times over the years (after being burned by many other incompetent dentists) and he never recommends unnecessary expensive procedures, he's absolutely meticulous perfectionist, and he takes his time doing the job done right and even sings/interprets opera for you when he's in mood! Too bad he has moved to Newbury Street now and he's just a bit too far and inconvenient for me to visit. I highly recommend him to people lucky enough to be in near proximity. I miss you Dr. Beal!
