Dr. Delos did a TKR ( total knee replacement) on my left knee 3 years ago, all went well. On February 20 2025, I had my right TKR done by Dr. Delos, once again surgery all went well. One problem I had (not his fault or staff), was the nerve block, It lasted 29 and a half hours. Yes they told me it’s possible it could last for 30 hours. My past knee and a past hip replacement, with the same amount of nerve block and same brand nerve block, only lasted about 2 hours in recovery. Dr. Heftler is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and realistic in evaluating patient needs and offering options for treatment. He understood my medical issue and gave clear options for care while ordering only necessary testing and avoiding extra visits by offering a telephone call after test results. He is busy, so it is not always easy to get an appointment. That's what happens when you are a good doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Heftler.
Dr Heftler is very knowledgeable and explains conditions and the proper treatment for the ailment. He is very friendly and caring. One of the Best Personalities in his profession. He really respects his patients. He has given my mother the best care! We really respect him greatly!
Dr. Delos did my left total knee replacement in early November, followed by a manipulation due to scar tissue in early January. For every step of the way in this long journey, which is still ongoing, he has been a total partner - thorough, knowledgeable, wonderful demeanor, and understanding of what I was feeling. Dr. Vitale may be very good at surgery, but his bedside manner leaves a lot of room for improvement. I work with my hands and had several issues that needed addressing. He was abrupt and condescending when examining me and interrupted me several times to go down his checklist, making me feel I was on a production line conveyor belt. He addressed the main issue I was there for and administered one injection which was quick, saying his schedule was running behind but he supposed he could squeeze in doing the other hand.
