Dr. Apostoldes has been treating me for a few years and helps maintain my spinal health without surgical intervention. if and when I need surgery I will look to him. He is practical and understands how to keep people moving.
Caring, humble and overall superlative care
Dr. Heftler was extremely attentive, listened to my symptoms and was immediately able to evaluate my neck, pain and arm pain. I was surprised at how fast I could get an x-ray and an evaluation. Great care at ONS.

Very happy with my visit, and consultation with Dr. Heftler. He understood my fear and concerns, making it easier to proceed forward with my medical treatment.
Dr. Apostolides took timer from the very first consult through the entire surgical and post-surgical process to understand my situation and to understand my outcome and lifestyle goals. This was the one year post-surgery visit and he took the time and interest to evaluate my recovery and discuss next steps for this 70 year old to resume his actively intense cycling hobby. Eagerly recommending friends with spine issues to seek him out. Oh and I live in NC!
I definitely recommend Dr. Apostolides.He explains things in an easy to understand way.He is very patient . I always have lots of questions.He never rushes and is very attentive.My husband and I spoke with several neurosurgeons and chose Dr. Apostolides which we thought and feel comfortable that he was the right choiceI had severe spinal stenosis and needed to have a laminectomy and fusion.Hope you don’t have the situation but definitely recommend him if you need a neurosurgeon!
