Dr. Vitale communicates very well, is thorough and clear in explaining any health issues, and has a nice disposition. He lays out the treatment alternatives and will provide his recommendation, if asked.
Caring, humble and overall superlative care
I met with Dr. Vitale and he took the time to LISTEN which not many Dr's do any more. AFter a thorough exploratory period and a good amount of time, he assessed my situation for me, WROTE it our on a piece of paper so I would have something to look at later and laid our a great plan for my recovery plan.
Every step of the process with Dr. Vitale’s practice and ONS in general was excellent. I have complete confidence in his diagnosis and recommendations.
As an 83 year old male who has undergone three hand surgeries and received treatment for several ailments I feel qualified to offer the highest possible praised for Dr. Vitale. I have had an excellent outcome with each operation to rebuild my arthritic thumb joints and remove Squamous cancer. Dr. Vitale may be very good at surgery, but his bedside manner leaves a lot of room for improvement. I work with my hands and had several issues that needed addressing. He was abrupt and condescending when examining me and interrupted me several times to go down his checklist, making me feel I was on a production line conveyor belt. He addressed the main issue I was there for and administered one injection which was quick, saying his schedule was running behind but he supposed he could squeeze in doing the other hand.
