Dr. Vitale listens, explains diagnosis and options very well. I felt very well taken care of.
Dr. Vitale is an amazing surgeon who cares about his patient. I had a very bad trigger finger in my left thumb. After receiving cortisone shot, It got better. I thought surgery would be involved but not at this time. Though Dr. Vitale mentioned that it could recur in 6 months and I can see him again. The front desk attendants were really nice & helpful. It was the best doctor visit experience
My 8 year old son had a fractured wrist. Him and his staff were excellent with my son in treating him. He explained his injury thoroughly to us and made my son feel comfortable and at ease when he was nervous given this was his first broken bone. I would definitely recommend Dr Vitale.
Dr. Vitale was very personable and my son, whose thumb was injured, and I both felt very comfortable with him. He was thorough, gave clear and good advice, and explained his thoughts. I’d definitely go to him again.
As the others say, Dr. Vitale has an excellent bedside manor. He is patient, answers all questions, and responds to inquiries in a timely manner. Unfortunately, he misdiagnosed my injury which meant 6 months of unnecessary discomfort. He directed me to a rheumatologist that he recommends, as he assumed my ailment was simply arthritis. That doctor confirmed that the XRay taken at Dr. Vitale's office showed the injury that was later diagnosed by another orthopedic hand surgeon. I have since had surgery (with another doctor) an... read more
Doctor Vitale provided excellent care as did the entire staff. He carefully and thoroughly explained my surgery, rehab and expected outcome. He was always on time and made me feel well cared for. My thumb joint is now pain free and I am so grateful to Dr. Vitale.
Dr. Vitale ushered me through a broken wrist incurred on a hike and was the epitome of calm and professionalism. With a broken ulna and radius, we had to take things cautiously week by week to ensure surgery would not be necessary. Luckily it wasn’t, but throughout the 2.5 mo process I know I was in good hands with Dr. Vitale. Plus, he’d broken his wrist earlier, this he had a great deal of empathy for the painstakingly slow healing process.
One week ago this wonderful doctor changed my right elbow. It was an elbow replacement. For three years I had been suffering greatly and it removed all of the pain and I’m beginning for use of my arm again thanks to this fantastic doctor. If I could give him 10 stars I would. He is kind, he listens and cares, most of all he is a fabulous surgeon!
Dr. Vitale is an exceptional physician and person. He is extremely knowledgeable, has an excellent bedside manor, and explains the situaltion completely and answers all questions. In my case for a wrist injury, he explained how to deal with this problem without the need for surgery and made me feel very comfortable with his recommendation.
