Not sure of this dr’s true competency, all I know is my Dad & I had total faith in her and Penn Med. He went in for heart surgery (triple bypass aka “CABG”) & Pavillion @ Penn in Philly due to 3 blockages in his heart. Things were expected to go very smoothly. They didn’t. I’m not gonna write a whole novel on here because it’s a lot. All I will say is within just less than 2 weeks I am chillin with my dad at the beach as we do together every summer together and then by the end of those 2 weeks I am planning my Dad’s funeral.... read more
I love my Surgeon Marisa Cevasco!!! I found Marisa, to be a model human being. Her work added thousands of days to my life which would not have been available to me without her six hour surgical intervention. I am very grateful for her work with me. Dr. Cevasco is a national treasure and a total rockstar. If you’re referred to her for cardiac surgery or are looking for a cardiac surgeon, RUN don’t walk to her office. It is incredible how someone can be so skilled and also be so kind and compassionate. My husband got a quadruple bypass done in April 2022 by Dr. Cevasco. Before the surgery, she explained the procedure in great detail, gave plenty of time to address all of our concerns, and offered to talk virtually to a family member in the medical field who was not present. The surgery was a great success. I can see what a great job Dr. Cevasco and her team did. The incision area was stitched very finely and beautifully.
